on the investments I’ve got tagged for a new “toy” notebook: AppleInsider is saying no Intel iBooks until June.
Until then, it’s just the daily look at the refurb section of the Apple Store to see if they mismark a 12″ G4 PowerMac at about $900, and fishing for the “MacBook” page…
I’ve heard very, very good things about TechRestore and their refurb PowerBooks. They are very customer-centered, and have a high level of loyalty.
Might be worth checking out for a stop-gap fix.
