Back on track

Had an absolutely glorious 5 miles this afternoon. Sunshine, pleasant temperatures, and plenty of other runners on the road exchanging nods.

  1. I think you needed a recovery day. That’s my problem with the “gotta do X every day for a month” thing: it can seem so repetitive and boring that it’s tough to keep up for a month solid. If you’re crafty and can mix it up, that’s one thing; but usually there is a lot of repeat action, with the same routes, same pace, etc.

    So the fun of your 5-miler is completely understood after a rest day.
